Elspeth Dugdale

Elspeth represents iOpener in Central Africa and helps lead and develop new projects there.

She is a strong believer that clear communication releases and realises potential. She fully understands the power of language, words and meaning as she speaks and works in French, Italian and German. Her language skills bring deep insights and clarity for the people she helps to develop: her aim is to enable them to say what they mean and mean what they say thereby enhancing their leadership ability.

Her background in education and business development means she has a warmth and immediate understanding of individuals and group needs. She believes that her flexibility and adaptability adds a huge advantage to those she works with and are key drivers of her success.

Elspeth’s personal coaching and development work is based around communication and includes media training, writing and presenting. This is a special interest of hers as she has advised and led successful international PR campaigns.

Elspeth lives and works in Kampala, Uganda.

Diane Scott

Diane represents iOpener in the USA.

Diane Scott, MSN, is a nationally recognized expert in the field of leadership development and organizational conflict, skills which she has honed over 20 years as a leader herself.

Her background as a healthcare professional means she has an acute understanding of the consequences of being happy at work. And she has observed the serious consequences that unhappiness can bring both for individuals, their teams and their organizations too. She knows that dealing with small things can lead to great changes and this is what she wants to bring about at a micro level.

At a macro level Diane has deep expertise in the development of strategic initiatives for a wide range of organizations including academic institutions, healthcare organizations, architecture design firms, and the United States Department of Veterans Affairs.

As the Program Director for Conflict Engagement at a national organization based near Washington D.C, Diane has provided development, learning interventions, workshops and coaching throughout the United States. She is the author of over 50 articles in the fields of conflict, leadership and workforce issues and a faculty member of Loyola University, New Orleans where she teaches graduate studies in advanced finances.

Diane lives near Washington, USA with her family.

Barbara Folscher

Barbara represents iOpener in South Africa helping to lead and develop new projects there.

She is a well-known communications expert, believing in the fundamental role that positive communication has in all human achievement especially for business leaders. She’s inspired and motivated by helping everyone to deliver their best in whatever medium is appropriate. Barbara honed these skills as an international television correspondent and award winning documentary film maker.

Her experience as a Harvard Nieman Fellow, addressing political and business groups in the US and Europe, strengthened her belief in the essential role of effective personal communication for any global leader.

Through working in war zones and South Africa’s traumatic change to democracy, Barbara gained experience in negotiation, persuasion and conflict resolution. Her current affairs programmes were broadcast on the SABC, CNN World Report, PBS and various channels in Europe. More recently she has broadened her writing skills publishing a book of short stories and a novel.

She lives near Cape Town.

David Maylor

David Maylor represents iOpener in Dubai

David Maylor has a wealth of business experience both operationally and as a coach and facilitator. He has an absolute passion for helping individuals and teams to recognise what they do and what they could do better in their business environments. All of his work is based around getting everyone to their next level – whatever that is.

In addition to his coaching practice, David designs and delivers bespoke programmes to improve sales performance, customer service, management and coaching. His industry experience is varied and includes, finance, IT, construction, healthcare, security, medical and manufacturing.

As well as being a qualified coach David has a degree in Sports Science which helps him with deep insights into effort and motivation.
