iOpener's Head of Research Vaughan Dutton discussed the preliminary results of the consultancy's latest research.
Vaughan explained that iOpener's unique analysis has shown that, "happiness is directly connected to productivity, engagement and commitment. It amazes me that organisations aren't taking this seriously as it has a fundamental impact on the bottom line."
The CNN website is carrying an online survey, designed and monitored by iOpener, so that their millions of global viewers can test their happiness levels and get some practical ideas on how to improve them. See the CNN Special Report Happiness and your health: the surprising connection
CNN learned about iOpener's pioneering work on happiness from the BBC2 series Making Slough Happy, broadcast last year.
Jess says: “It's really interesting that a team of producers in distant Atlanta heard about our work and have chosen to travel here to report on what we do. It's proof that happiness as a key concept in professional life is genuinely catching on.
We were delighted to welcome the CNN film crew here in Oxford and also to arrange for them to accompany us on visits to clients."
